Opportunities for professional development and additional employment with a forest loving team of educators.

Hundred Acre Wood Forest Preschool has been licensed to host an Emergency Childcare program for school aged children of essential workers during school closures due to COVID19.  We are looking for a facilitator to join our team to manage this program while schools are closed.

The facilitator will be assisting 8 students with their online learning and supervising outdoor play and meal breaks.  All COVID protocols will be in place including daily screening, physical distancing, masks (for all staff and for students grades 1 and up) and hygiene.  The ideal candidate will be tech savvy as they will be assisting with the learning platforms and hardware issues.  They will also have experience working with children and be a self-starter and troubleshooter.

We are a licensed non-profit preschool centre in Heathcote ON.  We have a capacity of 5 toddlers (one class) and 16 preschoolers (2 classes) in the lower level of our building. The Emergency Child Care program will take place upstairs in our building with their own entrance.  We are situated on 100 acres of meadow and forested land, with an indoor facility that reflects our outdoor learning philosophy.
